We hired GoMo Travel to help transport my 88-year-old mother from her home in New Jersey to her new memory care residence in Florida, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience.

Moving an elderly parent across the country and transitioning them into memory care is an incredibly emotional and complicated process. From the very beginning, GoMo Travel took the stress and uncertainty out of the logistics. They handled every detail—from transportation and flights to coordinating the many moving pieces involved in getting my mother safely to her new home.

What impressed us most was how thorough, organized, compassionate, and communicative they were throughout the entire process. We always knew what was happening, what to expect next, and who was responsible for each step. Their attention to detail gave our family tremendous peace of mind during a time when we desperately needed it.

Moving my mom from Arizona to an assisted living facility in Washington state after her stroke felt overwhelming, but GOMO Travel made it seamless.

From my initial inquiry, Melisa reached out within minutes with warmth and efficiency. Because commercial air travel felt too overwhelming for my mom, Melisa quickly coordinated a private charter flight handling every detail as soon as we had a firm discharge date.

On travel day, our flight nurse, Jill, was exceptional. She communicated early, conducted a thorough handoff with the rehab staff, and brought a wonderful, reassuring energy to the trip. Jill kept my mom comfortable and engaged during the flight. Ground transfers on both ends were prompt, spacious enough for all our extra luggage, and made transitioning to and from the aircraft effortless.

What could have been a chaotic ordeal ended up being the least stressful part of the entire recovery process. Having a knowledgeable nurse present gave our family complete peace of mind. From start to finish, my family's experience with GOMO Travel was outstanding. Our situation required transport of a loved one from one state to another by air travel on a compressed timeline. When I first contacted GOMO, I was immediately put at ease by the kind, patient demeanor of their representative. She provided a thorough explanation of how their process worked, including how it is truly a "door to door" service. Some of the coordination for the trip had to occur over a long holiday weekend, but this did not slow anything down because company representatives were attentive and responsive without any delays. Also, to ensure everything was progressing as needed, the company owner directly assisted during part of the process and she was wonderful to talk with over the phone as we worked through a few details.

Execution of the travel itself exceeded every expectation I had. Transport to the departing airport and from the destination airport was via a professional driver service in nice and immaculately maintained vehicles. The travel nurse had a kind, compassionate, calming, and joyful demeanor about her and I was confident that our loved one was in the best of hands and would receive all the help and care needed for a successful trip. The nurse sent updates throughout the journey on the progress, including a picture during one update. Arrival at the destination was on time and our loved one was received by family members who had the same overwhelming positive impression of the travel nurse that I had.

GoMo was amazing!!!  They helped set up everything for me to move my elderly Dad from Miami to Philadelphia.  Not only did they book the flight, arrange for wheelchair vans at both ends, set up a TSA agent to meet us in Miami, and provide an amazing nurse Parmela, they were so easy to work with. Moving my mother at the age of 91 from Winston Salem, NC to Ponte Vedra, Fl was a challenge that I was not looking forward to.  Once I found the perfect facility to move my mother to move to, I was faced with the challenge of finding the right method to move her.  So, I asked the staff at mom’s future home and got an immediate response from a staff member who had used GoMo Travel to move her mother.  I could not have discovered a better reference.  Once I contacted Kerri Johnson, everything started to fall into place.  All of my anxiety was easing quickly.  Once we were in agreement a schedule was created.  All medical concerns were addressed and I was introduced to the individual that would accompany my mother to her new home.

Every aspect of the schedule was executed perfectly.  The two plane rides were without issues.  I was kept in constant contact throughout the trip.  Provided photos of their travel and before I knew it, some two hours ahead of schedule my mother arrived by assistance of a private limousine service to her new home.

I had such a good experience with GOMO Travel in April (see review below) that when I needed to travel home, this time with two cats, I first emailed Randy and asked him if he knew of any agency that would handle people and pets. Much to my delight, he immediately called me and said that they could do this. Randy and his team worked with me to create the right itinerary and we agreed that there should be two companions, one for me and one for my cats. Randy handled everything, all I had to do was be packed and ready when he and Amber arrived at the start of the travel day. Travel went very smoothly. I know I felt safe and secure during travel in their capable hands and I believe the cats also felt safe because they settled right into their new home with no trouble. I will definitely hire GOMO Travel if I need to travel again in the future. I recommend them highly.

I am disabled and have not traveled in years, but when a relative was seriously injured and I had to go to them on very short notice, Randy and his team hopped right on the task. I spoke with them on Monday morning and was at my destination by Wednesday afternoon despite almost no flight availability. Nurse Rebecca was the best travel companion.
